We leave New York next Monday to go to LA. Our moving boxes have been picked up, and our lives consist of going from meal to meal at our favorite New York restaurants trying to cram in as much of our favorite foods as possible as we say goodbye to our friends. I'm pretty sure I've gain at least 7 pounds but I'll never know because the scale is already en route to CA!
This past weekend, my girlfriends threw Will and me a going away party for the record books. They surprised me by celebrating all of the holidays that I'll be traveling for in 2017. It was a blast! We celebrated New Years, Thanksgiving, Persian New Year, and Channuka. What a great idea!
I've also been doing a few NYC bucket list things like going downtown to the new Westfield at World Trade Center. The architecture is amazing and the space feels bright and airy. I've always thought the outside looks like the bones of a rib cage coming up from the ground which is especially morbid given the site.
